Obituary for Mikeral Taylor Styons
Mikeral Taylor Styons, 57, of Creswell died Sunday, April 5, 2015, at his residence in Creswell. Born May 30, 1957 in Washington County he was the son of the late Nixon Taylor Styons and Selma Waters Styons who survives. Mike was a retired grain elevator operator and member of Philippi Church of Christ. He was a member of Creswell Fire Department and Morrattock Hunting Club. His family includes his mother, Selma Waters Styons of Plymouth, N.C.; wife Paula Swain Styons of Creswell, N.C.; son, Michael T. Styons of Creswell, N.C.; daughters, Mindy L. Styons of Plymouth, N.C. and Pamela S. Cox and husband Phillip of Roper, N.C.; sisters, Debbie S. Lee and Cindy S. Furlough both of Plymouth, N.C. and Brenda S. Pledger of Columbia, N.C.; grandchildren, Justin Taylor Fox and Phillip Michael Cox, Jr. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Philippi Church of Christ Family Life Center, Creswell with Glenn Brickhouse officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Philippi Church of Christ Family Life Center and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
