Obituary for Keith Allen Pelletier
Keith Allen Pelletier, 59, of Creswell died Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Born December 16, 1961 in Lenoir County he was the son of the late Charles Pelletier and Geneva Tripp Pelletier and was preceded in death by his brother Charles Pelletier, Jr. Keith graduated from North Lenoir High School, NC State University, University of Mt. Olive and East Carolina University. Keith worked thirty-two years as an educator in Washington County. He was an agriculture teacher, FFA Advisor, Counselor, assistant principal, Career-technical Education Director. He was also a Pastorate for Original Free Will Baptist Denomination for twenty-nine years where he served Daly's Chapel OFWB Church in La Grange, NC, Mt. Tabor OFWB Church, Creswell, NC, Sunrise Landing Mission (OFWB), Powells Point, NC, Trinity OFWB Church, Pantego, NC (currently), St. Paul OFWB Church, Elizabeth City, NC and Malachi Chapel OFWB, Columbia, NC.
His family includes his wife, Shirley Tarkington Pelletier of Creswell, NC; son, Andrew Joseph Pelletier of Creswell, NC and his significant other Aubrey West of Kinston, NC; brother, Christopher Pelletier and wife Darlene of La Grange, NC; nephew, John Lee Pelletier, La Grange, NC; nephew, John Lee Pelletier of La Grange, NC; sister-in-law, Joy Tarkington of Orlando, FL. along with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Tabor FWB Church with Reverends Al Markuson, Royce Reynolds and David Furlough officiating. Family will receive friends at the church following the service.
Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
