Obituary for Benny Earl Harrison
Benny Earl Harrison, 83, of Plymouth died Thursday, October 24, 2019 at his residence in Plymouth.

Born February 22, 1936 in Washington County he was the son of the late Hope C. Harrison and Cora Beatrice George Harrison and was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Earl Harrison. Benny was a retired carpenter with Weyerhaeuser Corporation, a U. S. Air Force Veteran and a member of Zion's Chapel Church of Christ.

His family includes his wife, Jacqueline Skiles Harrison of Plymouth, N.C.; daughters, Sylvia Harrison of Plymouth, N.C. and Cynthia Harrison Leonard and husband Robert of Greensboro, N.C.; son, William C. Harrison and wife Tammie of Roper, N.C.; sisters, Nila Hood of Darlington, S.C. and Betty Jo Cozart of Hampstead, N.C.; grandchildren, Brandon Harrison, Courtney Harrison, Justin Allen and Austin Leonard; great grandchildren, Shelby Ross Harrison and Ellie Ruth Allen.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Zion's Chapel Church of Christ, Roper with Mark Wilmoth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church following the service. Flowers are appreciated or donations may be made to Zion's Chapel Church of Christ.

Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
