Obituary for Judy Arlene Taylor Gardner
Judy Arlene Taylor Gardner, 69, of Jamesville died Monday, May 18, 2015, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Born October 22, 1945 in Martin County she was the daughter of the late Hugh Hobson Taylor and Louise Smithwick Taylor and was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Leroy Gardner. Judy was a retired accountant and member of Maple Grove Christian Church. Her family includes her daughters, Sonya G. Keel and husband Russ of Nashville, N.C. and Robin G. Toppin of Jamesville, N.C.; son, Toby C. Gardner and wife Sheila of Jamesville, N.C.; special friend, Jack Lewis of Plymouth, N.C.; sisters, Gayle T. Roberson of Jamesville, N.C. and Winifred T. Griffin of Williamston, N.C.; grandchildren, Taylor Keel, Jonathan Keel, Sarah Keel, Luke Toppin, Michael Toppin, Garrett Gardner and Dawson Gardner. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Maple Grove Christian Church with Pastor Jay Hardison officiating. Burial will follow in Jamesville Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Maple Grove Christian Church and other times at the residence. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Jamesville Fire & EMS, P.O. Box 17, Jamesville, N.C. 27846. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
