Obituary for Henry Eugene Harrison, Jr.
Henry Eugene Harrison, Jr., 72, of Roper died Friday, February 20, 2015 at his residence in Roper. Born May 30, 1942 in Washington County he was the son of the late Henry Eugene Harrison, Sr. and Neva Bateman Harrison. Henry was retired co-owner of H.E. Harrison Wholesale Company of Plymouth. His family includes his wife, Gwendolyn Evans Harrison of Roper, N.C.; daughter, Cara Stanfield Harrison of Raleigh, N.C.; sons, Henry E. Harrison, III and Patrick B. Harrison and wife Molly both of Nags Head, N.C.; sisters, Jeanne H. Weaver of Plymouth, N.C. and Joy H. Rodman of Washington, N.C.; grandchildren, Burcham and Sarah Sage. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the residence of his sister, Jeanne H. Weaver located at 911 East Main Street, Plymouth. Private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
