Obituary for Vanessa Miller Hernandez
Vanessa Ann Miller Hernandez, 35, of Walstonburg died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Born January 11, 1976 in Darlington, S.C. she is the daughter of Eugene Wayne Miller and the late Judith Medlin Overton and was preceded in death by her step-father Blondie Harold Overton, Jr.. Vanessa was a homemaker.
Her family includes her husband, Javier Hernandez Hernandez, Sr. of Walstonburg, N.C.; son, Javier Hernandez Hernandez, Jr. of Walstonburg, N.C.; daughters, Jasmine Angelica Nicole Alvarado and Fransica Jaiana Hernandez of Walstonburg, N.C.; grandparents, Blondie H. Overton, Sr. and Charlotte L. Overton of Plymouth, N.C.; brothers, Kevin E. Miller of Plymouth, N.C., Eric W. Miller of Sellers, S.C., and Jason L. Miller of Plymouth, N.C.; sisters, Stephanie Miller of Plymouth, N.C. and Valerie M. Lozano of Walstonburg, N.C.; step-mother, Edna Miller of Sellers, S.C.; step-sister, Tammy Miller of Sellers, S.C.; step-brothers, Ray McPhatter and Lee McPhatter of Dillon, S.C..
Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home.
Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
