Obituary for Edith Ange Waters
Edith Ange Waters, 90, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Roanoke Landing in Plymouth.
Born August 31, 1920 in Martin County she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Minnie Ange and was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde T. Waters; brothers, Ottis Ange, Clifford Ange, Leroy Ange, Russell Ange and S.C. Ange; granddaughter, Tina Seger. Edith was a homemaker and member of Mount Olive Free Will Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Her family includes her daughter, Mary Clyde Waters of Raleigh, N.C.; sons, Bruce Waters and Wayne Waters of Plymouth, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Thomas and Eric Seger of Mount Pleasant, Michigan and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth with Reverend Robert Travis officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 22, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth and other times at the residence. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Mount Olive Free Will Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary, 5548 Long Ridge Road, Plymouth, N.C. 27962 or Roanoke Home Care Hospice, 198 N.C. Highway 45 North, Plymouth, N.C. 27962. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
