Obituary for Wade Reginald Brabble
Wade Reginald Brabble, 83, of Plymouth died Monday, February 5, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Born February 28, 1934 in Martin County he was the son of the late William Cary Brabble and Edith Ambrose Brabble and was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia O'Briant Brabble; brothers, William Brabble and Carroll Brabble. Wade retired as a Bleach Plant Operator with Weyerhaeuser Corporation with more than forty years of service. He was a corporate pilot, crop duster, helped organize the Plymouth Flying Club and was a member of First Baptist Church. As a flight instructor he taught so many people to fly and loved doing it. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
His family includes his sons, Wade Reginald Brabble, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and Tony Van Brabble and wife Shelly of Plymouth, N.C.; sister, Diana B. Peterson of Brisbane, Australia; brothers, Gerald Brabble and Knapp Brabble both of Edenton, N.C.; grandchildren, Jacqueline Tricia Harlow, Wade R. Brabble, III, Doreen Diana Brabble, Patricia Van, Gage O'Briant Brabble, Sydney Elane Brabble and Holley Anne Brabble; great grandchildren, Grace, Wade B. IV "Cort", Harper, Eason, Declyn and Toren.
Memorial service will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Plymouth with Reverend Jimmy Hagwood officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 9, 2018 following the service in the church sanctuary and other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church at PO Box 400, Plymouth, N.C. 27962.
