Obituary for Virginia Owdia Ralph Cooper
Mrs. Virginia Owdia Ralph Cooper, 77, of Columbia died Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Three Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Windsor. Born October 16, 19234 in Tyrrell County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Nelson Ralph and Louise Rhodes Taylor. Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and was a member of Sound Side Free Will Baptist Church. Her family includes her daughter, Glenda Kay Cammer of Columbia, N.C.; sons, Bobby Rupert Cooper and wife Debby of Columbia, N.C. and Tony James Cooper and wife Debbi of Columbia, N.C.; sister, Carney Jane Link and husband Donnie of Warrenton, VA.; brothers, Nelson Perry Ralph and wife Gloria of Emerald Isle, N.C. and Columbus Junior Taylor and wife Cheryl of Goldsboro, N.C.; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on October 12, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell and other times at the home of her son, Bobby Rupert Cooper. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
