Obituary for Virginia Bagley Riddick
Virginia Bagley Riddick, 92, of Plymouth died on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Roanoke Landing in Plymouth.
Born November 12, 1925 in Washington County she was the daughter of the late George E. Bagley, Sr. and Ethel Craddock Bagley and was preceded in death by her husband, James Rudolph Riddick, Sr., daughters, Betty Faye Riddick and Glenda R. Wynn; grandsons, Patrick Biggs and Curtis Biggs and brother, George Bagley, Jr.. Mrs. Riddick worked for many years with A&P as a meat cutter and later joined the food service staff at Plymouth High School and was a member of Hope Free Will Baptist Church.
Her family includes her daughter, Donna R. Bowen and husband Robert of Plymouth, N.C.; sons, James R. Riddick, Jr. and Glen I. Riddick both of Plymouth, N.C.; sister, Margaret B. Moore of Plymouth, N.C.; grandchildren, Jason Bowen and wife Suzy, Brandon Bowen and wife Shannon, Debbie Franisco and husband Tom, Katherine Williams and husband Lee, Ruth Tanner and husband Jonathan, Charles Riddick, Megan Riddick, Sharon Gurganus and husband Gene, Rodney Riddick and wife Dawn, Erik Riddick and wife Ginger, Wendy Heckman and husband Tony and Sandy Wynn; great grandchildren, Tyler, Cooper, Austin, Blake, Hunter, Carson, Alex, Zack, Beth, Justin, Ryan, Anthony, James and Lauren.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth with Pastor Leonard Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in Windley Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 3, 2018, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home.
