Obituary for Timothy Julian Jackson
Timothy Julian Jackson, 65, passed away unexpectedly March 21st, 2020 in Chowan County.
Tim was born on February 11th, 1955 in Williamston, North Carolina to the late Mary (Perry) and Julian Jackson. Tim graduated from Louisburg College in 1975 and then transferred to East Carolina University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1977. Throughout his collegiate time Tim took pride in serving as the baseball manager for both Louisburg and ECU. Tim started out teaching school at Robersonville High School and coached several sports. He later acquired a position with Domtar, formerly known as Weyerhaeuser, and had a successful career from April 1985 to present. He married his wife, Charlie, on May 1st, 1992, and was a life long resident of the Beech Bay Community in Roper, NC.
Tim truly loved and enjoyed life to the fullest. His infectious smile could light up the room and his selfless, goofy personality made him someone you just wanted to be around. He was always the life of the party and wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time. Tim's greatest loves were his ECU Pirates, his man cave, Ocracoke Island, Albemarle Sound sunsets, music, and of course his family and friends.
Tim was a Christian man who loved God deeply. He enjoyed Bible study and loved old hymns. He is survived by his wife, Charlie and children; daughter, Katie and son, Griffin.
