Renae Sue Feyer, 67, of Roper, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 16, 1957, in Muskegon, Michigan to John and Sharon Kool. Renae is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Dick Feyer, and their children: Chad and Amy Feyer of Washington, NC, Desiree Feyer of Kill Devil Hills, NC, and Eric and Anne Michelle Feyer of Grimesland, NC. Renae was also a cherished grandmother to 7 grandchildren: Olivia, Julia, Addisyn, Makenzie, Brooklyn, Reece and Bodie. She is also survived by her father, John Kool and was a loving sister to Kristi (Jim) Harris, Cassie (Keith) Saagman and Ross (Kim) Kool.
Renae was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Kool, sister Amy Kool Mangum and her grandparents, J.B. and Thelma Boes.
Renae was a 1979 graduate of Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI and a 1975 graduate from Edina East High School in Edina, MN.
Renae loved traveling in her motorhome and boat and loved spending time on the water and on the beach with her husband, especially in Florida. Her favorite hangout was at the Rod'NReel Pier in Anna Maria Island with all her Florida friends. She was a smartly dressed woman who loved wearing her jewelry.
Renae will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life memorial service is planned in Renae's honor in Plymouth, North Carolina. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Maitland Funeral Home in Plymouth. The service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m.. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
