Raymundo O. Salinas, Jr., 56, of Buxton passed away at the Carrolton of Plymouth Nursing Home in Plymouth, North Carolina.
Mr. Salinas was born August 18, 1968 in Laredo, Texas to the late Raymundo O. Salinas, Sr. and Marie Diana Benavides Salinas who survives. He was preceded in death by his son, Raymundo O. Salinas, III. He worked at Cape Pines Motel in maintenance.
Raymundo O. Salinas, Jr. was a smart, kind man known for his warm laugh, his terrible but endearing jokes, and the deep love he had for his family. He enjoyed life's simple pleasure's - playing video games, hunting, and going to the movies. He had a way of making those around him feel at ease, offering comfort, laughter, and a steady presence.
Raymundo is reunited with his beloved son, Trey, and the thought of them together again brings peace to those who miss them both. Their bond was unbreakable, and it brings comfort to know they're side by side once more. Raymundo's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. The love he gave so freely will never be forgotten, and his legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Maria Diana Benavides Salinas of Laredo, Texas and daughter Victoria Salinas Winters of San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Salinas will be taken home to Texas to be buried with his family.
