Obituary for Phillip Wayne Ange
Phillip Wayne Ange, 74, of Rocky Mount and formerly of Plymouth died Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount. Born March 11, 1938 in Washington County he was the son of the late George Wesley Ange and Clara Styons Ange and was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Lucas Ange. Phillip retired from the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician with over twenty-one years service. He later became a truck driver for MBM Corporation and was a member of First Baptist Church. His family includes his daughters, Beverlee Ange Conklin and husband Doug of Summerville, S. C. and Cathryn Ange Daniels and husband Eddie of New Bern, N.C.; sister, Patricia Ange Holliday of Jamesville, N.C.; grandchildren, James and wife Angie, Cristin and husband Mike, Mandy and husband Kelvin, Robin and husband Erik, Caroline and husband Robert, Kristal and John; great grandchildren, Emma, Allie, Carson, Peyton, Grayson and Emma Lauren. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth with Reverend Jimmy Hagwood officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 20, 2012 following the service in the funeral home at reception room. In lieu of flowers donations may be made at www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
