Patricia Ange Holliday, 89, of Jamesville, NC went to be with her Lord on May 13, 2025, after an extended battle with Alzheimer's Disease, and most recently, with other health- related issues.
"Pat" was born on June 16, 1935 to Clara Bell and Wesley Ange, of Plymouth, NC. She shared her life with her only sibling, Phillip Wayne Ange, with whom she always enjoyed spending time.
She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1953. During her time there, she became a member of the PHS Marching Band, where her lifelong love for music was born.
Through the years, she worked many different jobs, including the telephone company, Evelyn's Furniture Company, Durham Life Insurance, and Weyerhaeuser. Although, her most rewarding job experience came when she married the love of her life, Macon Holliday and moved to Jamesville, NC. There she worked as a teacher's assistant at Jamesville Elementary School for many years.
However, she would always tell people that her greatest achievement in life was her family, and she worked tirelessly to make sure each one knew they were loved and cared for.
Pat enjoyed her life and the people in it. Among her favorite things were traveling with her husband and many friends, decorating (especially for Christmas), cooking, music, art and working in her yard. She had an infectious smile and warm heart, and she loved deeply.
She is survived by her three children, John William Gray of Plymouth, NC, Jacqueline Gray Baynor (Earl) of Plymouth, NC, and George Russell Holliday of Jamesville, NC, six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Her blended family includes Barry "Nicky" Holliday, Gary "Rock" Holliday (Maria), Kenneth Holliday (Freda), Kevin Holliday (Sharon), and Toby Holliday (Cheryl), all of Jamesville, NC. Her blended family also includes 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband Macon; her parents, Clara Bell and Wesley Ange; her brother Phil; sister-in-law Elizabeth; daughter-in-law Donna Price Gray; daughter-in-law Donna Groover Holliday, and stepson Ron Holliday.
