Obituary for Noah Samuel Bennett
Noah Samuel Bennett, 90, of Plymouth, died Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Three Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Windsor.
Born December 23, 1930 in Martin County he was the son of the late Leonard Bennett and Effie Olivia Jones Bennett and was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hollis Bennett; Baby Girl Bennett; brothers, Fred Bennett, Arthur Bennett and Howard Bennett; sisters, Ethel B. Williams and Kathleen B. Peele; son-in-law, Robert Dale Britt. Mr. Noah retired from Weyerhaeuser as a production worker and was a farmer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Plymouth Church of Christ,
His family includes his son, Tony Samuel Bennett and wife Julie of Plymouth, NC; daughter, Nancy Bennett Britt of Plymouth, NC; brother, Raymond Bennett and wife Nina of Plymouth, NC; sisters, Lena Hungate of Greenville, NC, Jean Bridges and husband Jim of North Port, Florida; grandchildren, Tyler Bennett, Alison Bennett Hardison and husband Josh and Heather Jo Robinson; great grandchildren, Brock Layton Hardison, Tori Jo Robinson and Amiah Andrea Moore.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Memorial Gardens in Williamston with Bob Moulden officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth and other times at the residence of his son, Tony Bennett and wife Julie.
