Obituary for Mack Hassell Williams, III
Mack Hassell Williams, III, 70, of Creswell died Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Born December 3, 1949 in Beaufort County he was the son of the late Mack Hassell Williams, Jr. and Alma Jean Frame Williams. Mack was a retired swine producer, a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran and member of The Upper Room of Plymouth. Mack was an active member of Cross Trail Outfitters, a Christian youth hunting and fishing club; where he enjoyed working with youth and teaching them hunting and fishing skills. He has been a role model and hero for many of the CTO youth from all over the state. He has been an avid hunter and fisherman for many years and always enjoyed the opportunity to share a fishing trip with a friend.

His family includes his wife, Hazel Furlough Williams of Creswell. N.C.; sons, Charlie Wilson "Chuck" Williams and wife Mia of Pinetown, N.C., Mack Hassell Williams IV and wife Morgan of Boerne, TX. and Thomas Marion Williams of Chapel Hill, N.C.; sisters, Marlene W. Sprouse and husband Ellwood of Washington, N.C., Jean Williams and Dean Williams of Chocowinity, N.C.; grandchildren, Victoria Williams, Loris Williams and Summer Williams; niece, Ashley Romel and husband John.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Plymouth Church of Christ Family Life Center with Allen Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the church following the service and other times at the residence. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cross Trail Outfitters, 111 West Water Street, Plymouth, NC 27962.
