Obituary for Lloyd Jack Nobles
Lloyd Jack Nobles, 78, of Plymouth died Monday, October 19, 2020, at his residence in Plymouth.

Born October 14, 1942 in Washington County he was the son of the late Norwood Jack Nobles and Clara Alexander Nobles. Jack retired with thirty-six years service as a pipe-fitting supervisor with Weyerhaeuser Corporation and attended Plymouth Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and member of Providence Lodge No. 678 A.F.& A.M. of Columbia. He served over 20 years with Washington County EMS and Plymouth Fire Department.

His family includes his wife, Barbara Jean Furlough Nobles of Plymouth, N.C.; daughters, Sherrie Lee Nobles of Greenville, N.C. and Tammy Nobles Holton and husband Chris of Edenton, N.C.; sisters, Linda Bricknell and husband Ian of Angier, N.C. and Sharon Smith and husband Chris of Roper, N.C.; brother, Ray Gordan Nobles of Plymouth, N.C.; grandchildren, Jessica Spruill Ziemba, Nicholas Allen Holton, Nathaniel Ryan Holton and wife Jordan; great grandchildren, Kenlee Graicyn Everette, Landen Jack Ziemba, Lawsen John Ziemba and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Plymouth Church of Christ with Jay Hardison officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the graveside following the service and other times at the residence.

Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
