Obituary for Larry Wayne Lyle
Larry Wayne Lyle, 78, of Plymouth died Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Roanoke Landing in Plymouth. Born November 27, 1936 in Bogalusa, Louisiana he was the son of the late Irvin E. Lyle and Mary Smith Lyle and was preceded in death by his sister, Ella Mae Lyle Davenport; brothers, George Lyle and Kermit Lyle. Larry worked as a meat manager with A & P Food Stores and later owned Larry's Butcher Shop and was a member of First Baptist Church. His family includes his wife, B.J. Chappell Lyle of Plymouth, N.C.; daughter, Tracie Lyle Wildman of Plymouth, N.C.; son, Chris D. Lyle and wife Sandra of Pantego, N.C.; brothers, James Lyle of Roper, N.C. and Richard Lyle of Plymouth, N.C.; grandchildren, Brooklynn, Austin and Laura; great granddaughter, Roselynn. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Plymouth with Reverend Jimmy Hagwood officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at First Baptist Church and other times at the residence. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Building Fund. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
