Fiercely independent and self sufficient she loved to work outdoors whether it was shoveling dirt, mowing grass, or planting flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was always positive, supportive and encouraging.
Along with her parents, Bert was preceded in death by her brothers, Ashley Harrell and Jimmy White; her step-brother, Buddy Turner and her step father, Herbert Turner.
