Obituary for Johnnie Mae Craddock
Johnnie Mae Smith Craddock, 86, of Jamesville died Monday, August 3, 2020, at Martin General Hospital in Williamston.
Born July 22, 1934 in Alamance County she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Smith and Thelma Lenor Summers Smith and was preceded in death by her sons, Charles A. Craddock, Jr. and George A. Craddock; sister, Violet Smith and brother-in-law, Arthur Fisher. Mrs. Craddock was a retired Assembly of God minister and was a member of Darden Calvary Chapel.
Her family includes her husband, Charles Arthur Craddock of Jamesville, N.C.; daughters, Jacqueline C. Chandler of Jamesville, N.C. and Angie Craddock of Williamston, N.C.; sons, Ricky E. Craddock of Snow Hill, N.C. and Charles P. Craddock of Greenville, N.C.; sister, Deborah Fisher of Lynchburg, VA.; brother, Jerry T. Smith of Raleigh, N.C.; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth with Roger Leggett and Reverend Johnny Chase officiating. Burial will follow in the Craddock Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service and other times at the residence.
