Obituary for James Robert 'Fate' Pritchett
James Robert 'Fate' Pritchett, 64, of Jamesville died Friday, April 6, 2012, at his residence in Jamesville. Born March 13, 1948 in Washington County he was the son of the late James Hubert Pritchett and Mamie Lawrence Pritchett and was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth P. Perry and Lisa R. Pritchett; brothers, Jack Pritchett and Jerry Pritchett. Fate was a construction worker with Bennett's Erection Company, a United States Army Vietnam Veteran and member of Shadow of the Cross Church. His family includes his wife, Elaine Cahoon Pritchett of Jamesville, N.C.; daughters, Gina C. Risko of Plymouth, N.C., Heather P. Lister of Elizabeth City, N.C. and Jana L. Griffith of Virginia Beach, VA.; sisters, Mary Hassell, Brenda Jackson, Jackie Wynn all of Roper, N.C.; Donna Goodall of Plymouth, N.C.; Sandra Robinson of Jamesville, N.C.; brothers, Bill Pritchett, Larry Pritchett, John Pritchett all of Jamesville, N.C., Edward Pritchett of Edenton, N.C.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held Monday, April 9, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Shadow of the Cross Church in Jamesville with Pastor Johnny Barber officiating. Family will receive friends following the service. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the family. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
