Obituary for Hilda Inez Tetterton

Inez, an icon of Plymouth and Pantego (Turnpike/Hwy 99), someone who helped create enormous amounts of memories while eating her awesome food or just hanging out has left us. Everyone who darkened her doors was family in her eyes. She had a smile for everyone and words of advice or an occasional scolding to anyone who needed it. (Post from Pungo, Pike Road, Wenona, Grassy Ridge & Ponzer Communities)
Inez was born in Philadelphia, PA. to the late Eva Biggs Leary Garrett and Captain William (Willie) Pearly Leary on September 12, 1932. She was owner and operator of Inez's Quick Lunch in Plymouth for 6 years, Tetterton's Diner for 20 years and a housekeeper for 25 years and also farmed with her beloved husband. She was a member of Plymouth Church of Christ, which was her extended family who she loved so very much. She loved to cook, work in her garden and can vegetables, play Bingo and Dominos and spending time with her family.
