Obituary for Frank Samuel Nano
Frank Samuel Nano, 93, of Plymouth died Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at his residence in Plymouth.
Born December 25, 1922 in Fitchburg, MA. he was the son of the late Nunzio Nano and Concetta Alba Nano and was preceded in death by his first wife, Annie Patterson Nano; son, Frank N. Nano; sisters, Angela Gilman, Carol Lussier and Angelia Nano; brother, Alexander Nano. Frank was a retired material handler with 38 years service with Weyerhaeuser Corporation, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and member of Hope Free Will Baptist Church. He served in the Plymouth Lion's Club and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
His family includes his wife, Marion Cutchen Nano of Plymouth, N.C.; sons, Gary S. Nano of Goldsboro, N.C., David J. Nano and wife Debbie of Washington, N.C.; daughter, Debra Nano Ainsley and husband Larry of Jamesville, N.C., daughter-in-law, Sandra Nano of Fitchburg, MA., Pam Jackson and husband Rick of Winterville, N.C., Robyn Denson of Morrisville, N.C. and Deborah Waters and husband Walter of Williamston, N.C.; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Hope Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Leonard Bowers and Sherman Branch officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Hope Free Will Baptist Church and other times at the residence.
