Obituary for Eugene Henry Lutz, Sr.
Eugene Henry "Pops" Lutz, Sr., 67, of Plymouth died Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Born September 24, 1948 in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Samuel George Lutz and Jean Firestine Lutz and was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Greenleaf. "Pops" was a production worker in the furniture industry and a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, member of Grace Baptist Church and Grace Episcopal Church and member of First Flight Lions Club.
His family includes his wife, Jean Osborn Lutz of Plymouth, N.C.; daughters, Connie Singleton of Allentown, PA., Tammy Harker of Plymouth, N.C., Laura Renner of Penargyl, PA., Samantha Lutz of Pottsville, PA., Joann Michael of Neffs, PA., Diane Hannon of Brockton, PA., and Sandra Lutz of Pottsville, PA.; sons, Eugene Lutz, Jr., Andrew Lutz and James Lutz all of Pottsville, PA., sister, Karen Nash of Nags Head, N.C.; brother, Dennis Lutz of Alpha, N.J.; twenty-seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Grace Baptist Church, Plymouth with Reverend Lee Price and Father Henry Burdick officiating. Family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
