Obituary for Emma Ange Browning
Mrs. Emma Ange Browning, 95, of Plymouth died Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at her residence.
Born July 16, 1915 in Washington County she was the daughter of the late Albert Turner Ange and Eva Davenport Ange and was preceded in death by her husband, Hallie Leon Browning; sons, Emsley Warren Browning and James Henry Browning; sister, Hilda B. McDaniels and brother, Albert T. Ange, II. Mrs. Browning was a homemaker, member of the N.C. Extension Co-operative Association and lifelong member of Christian Hope Church of Christ.
Her family includes her daughters-in-law, Joyce A. Browning and Leonita C. Browning of Plymouth, N.C.; six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Friday, September 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Christian Hope Church of Christ, Plymouth with Reggie Braziel officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Christian Hope Church of Christ and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
