Obituary for Diane Modlin Satterthwaite
Diane Modlin Satterthwaite, 63, of Plymouth died Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at her residence in Plymouth. Born March 11, 1951 in Martin County she was the daughter of the late George Modlin and Mildred Whitley Modlin and was preceded in death by her sister, Lela Francis Martin. Diane was a produce manager with Food Lion, a member of the Plymouth Fireman's Auxiliary and SERT Emergency Responder Team and was a member of Zion's Chapel Church of Christ. Her family includes her husband, Joseph Earl Satterthwaite of Plymouth, N.C.; daughter, Tina Satterthwaite Woodley and husband Kelly of Plymouth, N.C.; sisters-in-law, Judy Wobbleton of Plymouth, N.C. and Martha Hobby of Winterville, N.C.; grandchildren, Stanley Dustin Woodley, Heather Leigh Woodley and Erin Nicole Woodley. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 am at Zion's Chapel Church of Christ, Roper with Mark Wilmoth officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Zion's Chapel Church of Christ and other times at the residence. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Zion's Chapel Church of Christ or the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
