Obituary for Daniel Robert Everett

Daniel Robert "Danny" Everett, 75, of Plymouth, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 2, 1948 in Washington County he was the son of the late Daniel Clifton Everett and Audrey Snell Everett  and was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Dail Everett.  Danny retired as a planer with Weyerhaeuser Corporation, attended Hope Free Will Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.

Danny loved life, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and took great pleasure in all of their accomplishments! He was a kind and gentle man with an infectious laugh!  He enjoyed going to breakfast with his buddies.  He loved the outdoors, going to the beach, and just being out on the water, and he loved animals. He had the biggest sweet tooth!  He enjoyed flying his drone, and watching most sports; especially Carolina basketball, which is something that he shared with his father, children, and grandchildren.

His family includes his daughter; Nichole Everett Allen and husband Gray of Plymouth, NC; son, Christopher Daniel Everett of Plymouth, NC; special step-daughter, Jennifer Stafford of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren, Madison Allen, Trenton Allen, Joanna Everett and Kaleb Everett; three great grandchildren; his loving niece, Dana Baur and loving nephews, Cliff Everett and Kevin Everett and their families.

Memorial service will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Leonard Bowers officiating.  Family will receive friends at the church following the service and other times at the residence.

Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
