Obituary for Clifford Eugene Frymier
Clifford Eugene Frymier, 97, of Asheville and formerly of Plymouth died Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville.
Born March 8, 1924 in Richwood, West Virginia he was the son of the late Roscoe Jack Frymier and Della Knight Frymier and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Gordon Bratten Frymier; son, Garry Frymier and his wife Phyllis Godwin Frymier; brothers, Paris Frymier and Paul Frymier. Mr. Frymier retired as a millwright with Weyerhaeuser, was a WW II Army Veteran and member of First Baptist Church.
His family includes his daughter, Melody Godfrey and husband Jim of Candler, N.C.; beloved grandsons, Jed Godfrey and wife Noel of Candler, N.C. and Adam Godfrey and wife Tam of Independence, KY.; beloved great grandchildren, Jayden, Payton and Wyatt; sister-in-law, Amanda Reynolds Frymier and several cherished nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Plymouth with Jimmy Hagwood officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church in Plymouth.
